Ally discovered yoga in 2012 as a way to counterbalance the stress long-distance running put on her body. Soon, she left running (mostly) behind and dove into yoga head first. It was the beginning of a lifelong journey into the practice.
Ally strives to create a warm, welcoming environment for all who enter kOMpose. Connecting others with the transformative power, joy, and beauty of yoga is her passion and calling. She feels honored to get to do it every single day.
Ally recently completed her RYT-200 certification with Ahna Hoke and Cheryl Milton. Focusing on safe, integrative alignment, Ally's teaching style encourages students to tap into their inner strength, develop deeper body awareness, and find balance and support through connection with the breath. She hopes her students leave class with tools they can use both on and off the mat to live a more fulfilled, whole-hearted life.
When she’s not in the studio, you can find Ally writing, traveling, spending time outside with her dog, making mala beads, reading a book, or playing her violin.
