Karen attended her first yoga class 15 years ago when yoga studios were still relatively new to Indianapolis. She had no idea at the time the practice of yoga would have such an impact on her life and well-being. Yoga allowed Karen to get into her body like no other form of exercise and supported her through challenging times by teaching her the importance of breath awareness and mindfulness techniques. Yoga also became a great tool during her four pregnancies, increasing her body awareness, focus, and determination to see through difficult days.
Karen graduated from the 200 RYT program at Invoke Studio. It is important to Karen that her students feel safe, supported, and inspired to live more mindfully. She hopes to create opportunities for growth while also improving overall physical health in a light hearted and warm classroom environment. Outside of the studio Karen’s heart swells with gratitude for her loving and supportive family and friends. She finds great joy in making and sharing a meal with her tribe, outdoor play, travelling, sharing smiles with strangers, and a great book!
