Robyn began her yoga practice nearly 8 years ago as a way to get fit while planning her wedding. She has always enjoyed being active and loves to dance and the performance arts, so she found yoga as a natural fit to quiet the mind and tune in to her body.
With two difficult pregnancies and a miscarriage, Robyn soon discovered that her mat served as a place for her to explore grief and release hardship. Yoga merged as a way to get in a fun exercise to being a therapeutic release. Her friends encouraged her to consider becoming a certified teacher, as she loves sharing knowledge with others and inspiring change.
Robyn completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in August 2017. Her teaching style is lighthearted and interactive, as well as focused on alignment and breath initiating movement hopefully bringing students to a place where they feel safe, secure and confident in their own bodies.
When not on her mat, Robyn spends time with her husband and two children. She also works part time as a behavioral therapist for children with autism. She also loves gardening and doing random DIY projects in her 1924 Irvington bungalow.
