Macy, RYT200, Assistant Manager

Macy found her way to the mat in 2018 to heal and find herself again after losing her sister to cancer. At first yoga was simply a way to ground her energy physically, in a chaotic world. Quickly, it transformed into an outlet to process grief and manage mental health. After three years of solo practice, meditation, and other adventures, her intuition led her to enrolling in a Yoga Teacher Training, officially.

She completed her 200 hour Vinyasa training in 2021 and then a 50 hour Yin Training in 2022. Macy teaches yoga so that others can use it as a method to heal physically and emotionally, learn about themselves, and ground and express energy in a physical way. She likes to teach yin, vinyasa, and mixed style classes. She loves to incorporate breath work and often provides time for students to move intuitively on their mats to the music.

Aside from yoga, Macy is a gardener, sister, Mini Poodle mom, and creative. She graduated from IU with a B.F.A. She also acts as the Assistant Manager here at the studio, handling the schedule, email marketing, and more.
