12th Annual Ripple Effect 5k

ABOUT
Join hundreds of runners and walkers on Thursday, October 18th for the 12th annual Ripple Effect 5k. The Ripple Effect welcomes people of all ages and ability levels! It includes a 5k Competitive Run (Timed) and a 5k Non-competitive Run/Walk (Not Timed).

Pre-registered on or before September 30
- Individual- $25
- Family Rate - $25/person for first 2, $20/person for each additional
Registered October 1 - October 18
- Individual- $30
- Family Rate - $30/person for first 2, $25/person for each
Race day - October 5
- Individual - $35
- No family rate

PACKET PICK-UP
Participants may get their race materials at the Runners Forum in Broad Ripple (902 E Westfield Blvd) on race day from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.

PARKING
Parking is available at the Broad Ripple parking garage (6280 N College Ave). Note: no vehicles will be allowed to park on Westfield Blvd, between Guilford Avenue and Winthrop Avenue during the event.

AWARDS
Awards will be presented to the top 3 overall male and female finishers.

POST RACE BLOCK PARTY
Stick around after you finish for some post-race celebrating! There will be a variety of vendors present, giveaways and raffles. All participants over the age of 21 are invited to grab 2 FREE beers from the Broad Ripple Brewpub in the lot behind Runners Forum. Not a beer drinker? No problem! We'll have lots of other refreshments to help you re-hydrate.

CHARITY
As the name suggests, the impact of the Ripple Effect is felt throughout the community. Proceeds from the event benefit the Broad Ripple Village Association, a nonprofit focused on enriching the community, attracting investment, amplifying public spaces, and improving quality of life. By participating, you will help fund important BRVA programs, including: public safety, beautification, and lighting, among many others. These programs ensure that Broad Ripple continues to be a safe and attractive place for people to live, work, and visit.
